Milestones:

·         Built up the electricity retail business in Germany with 30,000 customers through affiliate marketing

·         Break-even of the Venture Capital Unit in early 2019 during 3rd year of operation

Responsible for Trading, Origination and Business Development in the Statkraft Group with ca. 170 employees in the trading and sales offices in Oslo, Trondheim, Stockholm, Duesseldorf, Amsterdam, London, Sofia, Belgrade, Bucharest, Istanbul, New Dehli and Rio de Janeiro.

Milestones:

·         Development and implementation of the virtual power plant concept including algo trading for renewable energy in Germany in 2010; thereafter roll-out in Belgium, UK, France, Romania, first B2B customers in India and break even in Brazil

·         Developing the green PPA business with a market value of long-term contracts of €500 million

·         Established a Joint Venture for unsubsidized distributed solar generation in India, building the first PV installations at the customers’ sites at the order of 15 MW

·         Negotiated a long-term PPA (100 MW) with the pump-storage plant of Nant-des-Drance in Switzerland.

·         Introduced an efficient system to allocate and manage working capital

establishing trading and sales offices in Belgrade, Sofia, Bucharest und Istanbul

·         Development of two gas-fired generation units (CCGTs) with 1200 MW capacity in total in Germany: „Invest in NRW 2006“- Award given by the Government of NRW for outstanding development efforts for the Knapsack Power Stationin Cologne (Germany)

·         Acquisition of 3 hydropower projects with a total capacity of 600 MW in Turkey in 2008
